Measuring and Recycling Cooking Oil

FLO-CORP provides operational innovation and "green" advantages through the Smart Oil Management System.

FLO-CORP's Smart Oil Management System
FLO-CORP's Smart Oil Management System featuring the Tracer 1000 Guided Wave Radar Level Transmitter and DigaCom Universal Process Display.

FLO-CORP was contacted by one of the service providers of Walmart to provide every Walmart store in the United States with the Smart Oil Management System. The reason this system is so unique and extremely popular with the food service industry is because of its advanced capabilities. Corporate Walmart now has the capability to keep track of the entire inventory of used cooking oil in every store across the country. The system also alerts the store managers of the exact amount of used cooking oil that will be collected by the service company for recycling use. More advanced features of the system include overflow prevention, theft prevention, and the ability to automatically dispatch the service providers when the oil is ready for pick up.

FLO-CORP provides "green" solutions

"The rendering process collects inedible byproducts from the food processing chain and recycles it into fat, protein, and hide products that can be reused."

The Smart Oil Management System is not only a great operational innovation, but it is a product that has many “green” advantages as well. The rendering process collects inedible byproducts from the food processing chain and recycles it into fat, protein and hide products that can be reused.

Approximately 70% of the used cooking oil is filtered and reused as oil.  The other 30% is recycled using other methods creating an eco-friendly, 100% reuse system.

The Smart Oil Management System is also in use in Costco, Burger King, Wendy's, & McDonald's stores.

FLO-CORP is thrilled to provide the Smart Oil Management System, helping keep our planet clean!
