Vibrating Level Switch for Liquids

The New Vibex II™ Vibrating Level Switch is an ideal instrument for accurate point level detection in liquids. Using vibrating fork technology, this device will detect the change in its natural resonant frequency (1.100 Hz) which is driven by an internal piezoceramic element inside the sensor. The frequency will change when the sensor is covered to a known point on the vibrating fork upon which the sensor will send a switching output. If the vibrating fork is not covered by liquid, its natural resonant frequency changes back and so does the state of the switching output. The Ranger S™ Short Range Ultrasonic Level Transmitter or Level Switch is extremely durable and accurate. The construction is tough Valox plastic, completely sealed for corrosive resistance. The Ranger S™ can be mounted in rugged process environments such as wet wells, effluent flow channels, chemical day tanks, and more. The ultrahigh frequency of the Ranger S™ (over 150 kHz) and narrow beam angle make it ideal for any liquid application. The Ranger S™ Transmitter features adjustable 4-20 mA or 0-10 VDC three-wire output is easy to setup with the use of a potentiometer and LED light. The Ranger S™ Switch features two adjustable solid state relays (N.O. N.C.) are easy to setup with the use of a potentiometer and LED light. No external software or hand-held setup device is required.
